「滙豐博愛單車百萬行」將於2009年3月15日 (星期日)舉行。數千名市民將以踏單車形式，為博愛醫院籌款。是次盛事由滙豐冠名贊助，亦是全港首次單車百萬行，別具意義。透過參與這個結合運動、持續發展及慈善多項元素的活動，你便可以行動實踐綠色生活，共襄善舉。

參加者會在大埔吐露港單車徑起步，經科學園單車徑、沙田單車徑、源禾遊樂場，騎車至沙田公園，全程10公里。為鼓勵各界參與，活動設有「企業精英組」和「個人組」。參賽者更可以享受在景緻怡人的吐露港單車徑騎單車的樂趣。

環南中國海國際自行車大賽是在中國的香港、澳門、佛山、珠海、廣州等沿海城市或珠江三角洲城市舉辦的國際自行車賽事。據佛山市體育局相關人士介紹，由於該 項賽事於每年年末舉行，正好是世界自行車比賽的淡季，因此可以吸引世界各地的自行車隊伍參賽。另外，線路選在中國香港、澳門及珠江三角洲幾個經濟發達的城 市和地區舉行，對當地自行車項目的發展起到一定的推動作用。
