賽事簡介及目標 Race Introduction and Purpose

賽事理念 Race Introduction

「聖誕老人來了！」- 聖誕老人給予人們一種歡樂、付出及令人期待的印象。賽事將召集過千位城中的聖誕老人，在跑步籌款之餘，也帶來希望！賽事更會結合嘉年華的節目及氣氛，讓所有參加者均可享受別具歡樂的比賽。這也是全港唯一比賽中所有跑手都是聖誕老人(穿著聖誕老人服飾)!

“Santa Claus is coming to town!”- Santa Claus brings joy, excitement, and represents a spirit of giving. This festive fundraising event will bring together thousands of runners to bring hope to the underprivileged children of Hong Kong. It is the only race in Hong Kong where all runners dress as Santa Clauses for the run.

籌款目的 Fundraising Purpose

透過充滿聖誕氣氛的運動為寰宇希望籌款，希望參與者既可從中體會到運動的益處與樂趣，亦可對幫助有需要的人具有使命感。是次比賽所籌得的善款，將用於支持寰宇希望於深水?及天水圍的學業輔導及品格教育項目，使更多的低收入家庭兒童得到幫助。

All funds raised will support HOPE worldwide’s academic enhancement and character education programs for underprivileged children in Sham Shui Po and Tin Shui Wai.

組別及最低籌款額 Category and minimum donation

* 每隊「親子組」需由一名家長及一名子女組成，共2名參加者。成績以2位參加者的完成時間總和決定。
*“Family Run” should be formed by 1 parent and 1 kid, 2 participants in total. Results will be determined according to the summation if the finishing time of 2 participants.

#比賽成績將以最後衝刺的成員的時間作計算。每名女參加者在計算成績時將獲25秒減免。
# Team result will be calculated based on the time from the last team member. Each female participant would have a “minus 25 seconds”benefit in counting results.

參加者可選擇「聖誕老人服裝」或「活動精美紀念品」
為嚮應環保，大會建議參加者可揀選「活動精美紀念品」，並於當日穿著自備或自制的聖誕老人服裝出席。（建議：穿著 「寰宇希望千個聖誕老人慈善跑2015」的聖誕服）

Participants can make a choice of “Santa Claus Suit” or “Event Souvenir”
As environmental friendly, we encourage participants to choose “Event Souvenir”, and prepare or hand-made their own the Santa Claus Suit for the race. A souvenir will be awarded to participants.

1. 網上報名 Online Registration:
   請登入www.hopeww.sportsoho.com填寫報名表格（可以信用咭 (visa/master) 繳交報名費；
   Fill and submit the online enrollment form at www.hopeww.sportsoho.com

 

2. 郵寄 Mail:
   填妥報名表格，連同劃線支票，支票抬頭人請寫「寰宇希望」或「Hope worldwide」,寄回香港九龍鑽石山彩虹道 202-204號 華懋工業大廈1樓B室收，信封面請註明「寰宇希望千個聖誕老人慈善跑2016」
     Mail the completed enrollment form and the cheque with the heading “Hope worldwide”to Flat B, 1/F, Wah Mow Factory Building, No.202-204 Choi Hung Road, Diamond Hill, Kowloon, Hong Kong. Please specify “Hope worldwide Great Santa Run 2016”on the envelope.

 

3. 傳真或電郵 Fax or Email:
   填妥表格並連同銀行入數紙(報名費請存入匯豐銀行024-134090-002)傳真至21170023或電郵至 hopeww@sportsoho.com (建議使用櫃員機或網上轉賬)。

   劃線支票抬頭需註明「寰宇希望」。填妥的贊助表格正本連同贊助費支票或存款收條正本一併寄回：香港九龍鑽石山彩虹道202-204號華懋工業大廈1樓B室收，信封面請註明「寰宇希望千個聖誕老人慈善跑2016」。
   Please make the crossed cheque payable to “Hope worldwide” Please send the completed sponsorship form with cheque or original bank-in slip by post to Flat B, 1/F, Wah Mow Factory Building, 202-204 Choi Hung Road, Diamond Hill, Kowloon, Hong Kong and specific “HOPE worldwide Great Santa Run 2016”.

注意事項 Important note

• 若申請者提供錯誤資料、不能繳交報名表及費用或不依從正確報名程序報名，主辦單位保留拒絕接受有關申請之權利。報名一經接納報名費或捐款恕不發還。已寄出的報名或重覆報名，均不設退款、退件、轉名安排及取消服務。 All enrollment fees and other donations are not refundable. If the participants provide incorrect information, fail to pay for enrollment fee or follow correct enrollment procedure, the Organizer reserves the right to reject their enrollment.

 

• 不接受現場及逾期報名。
  Later or on site enrollment will not be accepted.

 

• 主辦單位保留限制及拒絕接受報名的權利。
  The Organizer reserves the right of limit and refuses any enrollment.

 

• 主辦單位保留聯絡申請者之權利，以便查詢有關其報名資料之事宜。
  The Organizer reserves the right to contact participants for information regarding their enrollment"

 

• 任何懷孕或患有慢性疾病如心臟病及高血壓的人士，皆不應參加是次活動。主辦單位在得悉或懷疑的情況下，保留取消任何不適宜參加是次活動之參加者資格的權利。被取消資格人士的報名費及其他費用, 將不會獲得退還。
  Any person who is pregnant or suffering from chronic diseases such as heart disease or high blood pressure should not join the event. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant known or suspected to be unfit to participate in the event. All entry fees and donations of the disqualified person will not be refunded.

 

• 號碼布連計時晶片及將會在比賽前兩星期通知參加者領取，參加者攜同電郵列印本或用電子產品展示電郵方式領取。
  Race Pack Pick-up Notice will be sent to participants 2 weeks before the event day, participants should bring the email print out to pick up the race pack with bib number, timing chip.

 

• 參加者個人意外保險需自行負責。
  Participants are advised to arrange their own insurance cover.

 

• 如於比賽前一天中午十二時或之後懸掛八號或以上颱風訊號，賽事將會取消。
  If Typhoon Signal No.8 or above is hoisted at any time from 12:00 noon on the day before race, the race will be cancelled.

 

• 如於比賽當日凌晨十二時前懸掛黑色暴雨，賽事將會取消。
  If the Black Rainstorm Signal is hoisted at any time from 12:00am on the race day, the race will be cancelled.

 

• 如比賽進行中天氣惡劣或懸掛上述任何警告，賽事總監有權將比賽賽程改變或取消正在進行中的比賽。報名費將不獲退還。
  Should the above Inclement Weather/Condition Warnings be raised after the commencement of race, the Race Director has the right to change the course distance or arrangement or to stop the race. If the race is being stopped, the race will be cancelled. Entry fee will not be refunded

 

• 如是次比賽因天氣惡劣或懸掛上述任何警告而取消，並不設補賽。
  No rescheduled race due to inclement weather or other reasons.

 

• 請在比賽早上致電香港天文台查詢有關天氣情況。(電話: 1878200)
  Please check the race day weather from the Hong Kong Observatory. (Tel: 1878200)

 

• 大會保留是次活動之最終決定權，任何有關活動的臨時改動或消息，將以大會網站公佈為準。如參加者引起公眾不安，或作出其他大會認為不當的行為，大會有權取消參加者比賽資格。
  The Organizer reserves the right of final decision of the event. Any changes or contingent measures for the event announced by the Organizer and posted on the Organizer's webpage shall prevail.

 

• 參加者必須確保體格適宜參加比賽。參加者必須同意遵守及接受參加者須知及其細則。
  Participants must ensure that they are physically fit to join the event. They must comply with, observe and accept the requirements and related terms for participants.

 

• 大會設有行李寄存及水站。
  Baggage storage service and water stations will be provided.
