賽道72%為越野及山徑路段，橫跨新界區馬鞍山、獅子山、城門、大帽山及大欖郊野公園。參賽者會穿跑過新界區飽覽香港郊野的壯麗景色，穿過荒廢古村，俯瞰九龍繁榮鬧市，同時挑戰高低起伏的山巒。賽事為個人賽，全長57公里，總爬升大約3000米。

TransNT crosses the beautiful trails of Hong Kong. With 72% of the course on trails and paths inside Ma On Shan, Tai Lam, Lion Rock, Shing Mun and Tai Mo Shan country parks, participants get to make their way across Hong Kong New Territories, run through abandoned ancient village, whilst taking in the stunning scenery around them.
